Cashback Terms & Conditions
Brother cashback promotion terms and conditions.
1. Participants in this promotion must be resident in New Zealand and are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. To qualify for this offer the participant must have purchased the machine on promotion between the dates specified. Purchases must be made in New Zealand from a participating, authorised Brother dealer.
3. To claim, individuals must visit www.brothercashbacks.co.nz and complete and submit the required information including (but is not limited to) their name, address, email, serial number, purchase details and if EFT is selected, their nominated account details. To complete the claim process individuals will then be required to post a copy of their receipt/tax invoice to Brother International (NZ) Limited (Brother), PO BOX 38-294, Wellington Mail Centre, Wellington 5045. All claims must be lodged by the redemption date outlined on the promotion. Brother accepts no responsibility for claims not received by this date and any claim received after this date will not be processed.
4. The tax invoice/receipt must clearly specify the store or entity of purchase, date, tax invoice number, and that payment has been received in full. If the receipt is missing any of this information or is illegible or indecipherable it will consequently render the claimant ineligible to claim for a refund under the 10 working day ‘payment promise’ (outlined below). Should we be unable to read any information required for the claim to be fulfilled, we will endeavour to contact you on the phone number or email noted; again it is the responsibility of the claimant to provide the correct information.
5. Upon verification of a cash back claim, Brother International (NZ) Limited (Brother) will issue the payment via EFT or cheque within 10 Working Days (payment promise) of receipt of all evidence reasonably required by Brother for a valid claim. It is the responsibility of the claimant to provide the correct mailing address in order to receive the cheque or the correct details for the bank account for EFT. If the incorrect bank account details or mailing address is provided then this will render the claimant ineligible to claim for the ‘payment promise’. Payments are not transferable, assignable or exchangeable for other goods or services and is governed by New Zealand law.
6. If the cashback cheque has not left our head office with the 10 working day period, or the EFT payment has not occurred since we advised payment would be made within 10 days, the participant may be eligible for a refund, please contact Brother on 0800 788 700 or visit www.brother.co.nz to complete/request a Full Refund Form. 7. Claimants must retain a copy of their tax invoice for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to cash back.
8. This offer is made by Brother (as manufacturer) directly to purchasers of any Brother products specifically included in the cash back promotion. Although the retailer (or supplier) of the Brother products may be specifically authorised to make this offer on Brother’s behalf as the manufacturer’s agent, any claims must be made directly to Brother and Brother retains exclusive responsibility for meeting any such claims.
