Using non-genuine ink* may damage your machine’s print head. Not only can you be inconvenienced and your printer or MFC suffer possibly irreversible damage, but the subsequent cost to repair or replace your machine may end up being borne by you, the consumer.

By using only genuine Brother consumables, you increase your machines’ lifespan, performance and save on potentially costly repairs.

Corroded Flow Channels in Print Head

There is a risk that non-genuine ink* may corrode and damage the ink tubes in your machine’s print head. This may cause potential ink leakages or inability for the ink to be ejected properly.

Clogged Ink Nozzle

Due to the poor quality of the non-genuine ink, your machine’s print head nozzle will be clogged and cause the machine to malfunction.

Refilling empty Brother ink cartridges may also damage the print head and/or cause ink leakage. Any air and contaminants introduced into the ink chamber during refill can clog and damage the print head.

Risk of Getting Poor Print Quality

Brother inks are specifically formulated to work with Brother inkjet MFCs for best results. Without the same level of quality control, the fluidity of non-genuine inks may not be suitable for your machine.

Using non-genuine inks may cause poor colour reproduction, washed-out colours, and missing dot replacements due to the viscosity level of the ink. The richness, longevity and quality of the printout could also be compromised.
