Our nationwide network of authorised dealers and resellers also stock the consumables for your product and through our distribution system can usually order products that they do not have in stock overnight.

At Brother we manufacture our products to exacting and environmentally friendly specifications. We are committed to ISO9001 and ISO14001 and through these controls ensure reliability is built into every product we manufacture.

In the unlikely event that you experience a problem with a Brother product, for one year from the initial date of purchase (noted below), Brother International (NZ) Limited will repair this product free of charge for defective materials or workmanship. All parts found to be defective within this warranty period will be replaced free of charge. This warranty does not include general maintenance kits, normal wear and tear, cleaning, or any damage as the result of accident, neglect or misuse. To maintain a high standard of operation Brother recommends the use of only genuine approved Brother manufactured consumables. The use of non-genuine Brother manufactured, refilled or compatible consumables may affect the performance of this product and may void the Brother product warranty. Other parts or supplies not specifically sold or approved by BROTHER INTERNATIONAL (NZ) LIMITED may also affect the performance of this product and may void the Brother product warranty.

You can purchase an extended warranty for your product. This extension of your product’s warranty period can be purchased within 30 days of the purchase of your machine. This warranty is in addition to and does not seek to limit any statutory guarantees you may be entitled to. Please refer to the relevant product page for details of the base warranty and the extended warranty options available for your product.

An On Site component of a product’s warranty means that any necessary repair work can be carried out free of charge within 30km of a Registered Warranty Technical Service Provider’s premises.

The use of any Technical Service Provider not authorised by Brother may void the Brother Product Warranty.

In the event of resale, the balance of the warranty is transferable, with proof of purchase.

At no time does Brother International (NZ) Limited accept liability for any freight or transportation costs or for any damage during transit; nor any consequential damages seemingly relating to the product or it’s related components.

Brother has taken reseller and customer confidence and satisfaction to new levels. This service is available during normal office hours. The fault will be remedied free of charge. For customers who live significant distances from the nearest repair agent, Brother reserves the right to replace (rather than repair) a product at Brother�s cost. The dispatching of a Brother-nominated technician at a time to suit the customer will be coordinated by the Brother Helpdesk.
