Beware of Unauthorised Technical Service Providers

We have received reports that a third party is attempting to deceive our valued customers by posing as our representatives and charging for service and repairs. Please be aware that these entities are NOT affiliated with Brother in any way. Scams are increasingly clever and changing all the time.

What to remember:

  • Brother will never ask you for your bank account details over the phone.
  • All support calls with our Helpdesk team are via our 0800 number, never via mobile phone.
  • Brother does not charge you for support over the phone.
  • If the issue can’t be fixed over the phone, we will arrange next steps with you.
  • If your product is still under warranty and the fault is covered by this warranty, repairs will be made at no cost to you*.
