Partner Cashback Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. Defined Terms 

1.1 In this document: 

Authorised Brother Reseller means a reseller, authorised by Brother to sell Brother products in New Zealand. 

Brother means Brother International (NZ) Limited. Physical address, 27 Matarawa Place, Tauriko Business Estate, Tauranga 3171. Postal address. PO BOX 248, Seventh Avenue, Tauranga 3140.

Cashback Amount means the amount defined in the Eligible Cashback Product Matrix. 

Claimant means an individual or entity eligible to participate in the Partner Promotion. 

Eligible Product means any machine that is identified in the Eligible Cashback Product Matrix and which has been purchased in New Zealand from an Authorised Brother Reseller during the Promotional Period. 

Eligible Cashback Product Matrix means the matrix in clause 5 identifying each Eligible Product and Cashback Amount. 

General Cashback Terms means the terms and conditions that apply to all cashback promotions. 

General Promotion means the Brother cashback promotion(s) made available to the  public on the Brother website at www.brother.co.nz from time to time.

Promotional Period has the meaning given in clause 3. 

Valid NZ Bank Account means an active New Zealand Bank account in the name of the Claimant. 

2. The Promotion 

2.1 This Brother cashback promotion is offered to eligible customers of NZ Post and Mainfreight, as part of Brother’s ongoing commercial relationship with NZ Post and Mainfreight (Partner Promotion).

3. Application of Terms

3.1 These terms and conditions (Partner Cashback Terms) and the General Cashback Terms located on Brother’s website at www.brother.co.nz apply to this Partner Promotion (together the Terms). In the event of any inconsistency between these Partner Cashback Terms and the General Cashback Terms, these Partner Cashback Terms will prevail. 

3.2 By participating in this Partner Promotion, the Claimant agrees to be bound by the Terms. If the Claimant does not agree to be bound by the Terms, they must not participate in this Partner Promotion. 

4. Promotional Period

4.1 The Partner Promotion will commence on 1 July 2025 and continue until terminated or varied by Brother on 30 days’ notice in writing (Promotional Period). 

5. Eligibility

5.1 To be eligible to make a claim under this Partner Promotion, the Claimant must: 
(a) be a customer of NZ Post or Mainfreight; 
(b) be a New Zealand citizen or resident; 
(c) purchase an Eligible Product from a Brother Reseller during the Promotional Period; 
(d) provide Brother with a Valid NZ Bank Account to receive the Cashback Amount; and 
(e) purchase an Eligible Product for use in New Zealand, not for commercial resale, rental or lease (ie. the Claimant must be the end-user of the Eligible Product). 

5.2 Employees of Brother and any Authorised Brother Reseller are ineligible to make a claim. 

6. Eligible Cashback Product Matrix

6.1 The Claimant may make a claim under this Partner Promotion in relation to any the following Eligible Products:

8. Claim Conditions

8.1 The Claimant may make multiple claims during this Partner Promotion, subject to the following: 
(a) Only one (1) claim can be made per Eligible Product purchased. 
(b) No more than five (5) claims may be made for each Eligible Product during the Partner Promotion. 
(c) Multiple claims that use the same invoice details may be rejected at Brother’s discretion.
(d) If the Claimant returns an Eligible Product for which they have already received a Cashback Amount, they must return the Cashback Amount to Brother. 

8.2 Each claim must be submitted in accordance with the Claim Process specified in the General Cashback Terms.

9. Verification by Brother 

9.1 Brother may, from time to time and at any time following a claim, take reasonable steps to verify the eligibility of any Claimant or the validity of any claim at any time. Acceptance of a claim or payment of a Cashback Amount does not constitute a waiver of Brother’s right to review, audit or invalidate a claim. If Brother reasonably believes that the Claimant is ineligible or a claim is invalid, Brother may reject the claim and seek repayment of any Cashback Amount already paid. Brother’s decision on eligibility and validity is final.

10. Concurrent Promotions

10.1 A Claimant may only make a claim for an Eligible Product under either the Partner Promotion or the General Promotion. If a Claimant makes more than one claim in relation to the same Eligible Product under more than one promotion, Brother reserves the right to reject one or both claims at its discretion. 

10.2 This Partner Promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offer, including any other cashback promotion or rewards program.   

11. General terms

11.1 Except as expressly varied or modified by these Partner Cashback Terms, the General Cashback Terms will apply.
