Empty Brother consumables can be recycled via:

  • Nationwide drop-off points

Recycle a printer

Printer Pick Up is a print industry first in Aotearoa New Zealand that makes it easier than ever to recycle an old printer.

When you buy a new Brother printer, we’ll pick up your old one and recycle it for you – regardless of the brand. We’ll also take away the packaging from your new printer.

Alternatively, you can drop your old printer off at any of our nationwide drop-off points to be recycled.

If you're a new Managed Print Services customer, you can choose to have your old print hardware removed and recycled for free when you start a new contract.

EPS/EPE-Free Packaging

Removing polystyrene (EPS) and polyethylene (EPE) packaging from our products is an environmentally responsible step that reduces non-recyclable waste and promotes sustainable packaging alternatives, including cardboard and pulp. EPS/EPE packaging will continue to be phased out.

Customers and partners are encouraged to keep an eye out for EPE/EPS-free packaging on Brother products that feature the special badge.
