Brother designs and develops products with sustainability in mind, reducing environmental impact from production to end of life. Each stage focuses on conserving resources, improving energy efficiency, and supporting long-term product recyclability.
Eco Choice Aotearoa Certification
Eco Choice Aotearoa certification means a Brother or Konica Minolta product has been through third-party review of its materials, manufacturing, use and end-of-life. Look for the label to know you’ve chosen responsibly.
EPS/EPE-Free Packaging
Brother is phasing out EPS and EPE packaging to reduce non-recyclable waste and introduce sustainable alternatives like cardboard and pulp. Look for the EPS/EPE-free badge on selected new products.

Our CSR initiatives support communities and environmental projects across Aotearoa. See how Brother contributes beyond our products.
Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
We comply with RoHS standards to ensure our products are free from harmful materials, helping protect people and the planet.
